I am a US citizen who has been in the computer field for over 20 years.  I have worked on numerous military contracts.  I have worked locally and internationally.  Being an ex-USMC I am well disciplined

Backfilled Lab Mngr./Systems Engineer - Managed AT&T/IBM Cloud Service Lab with multiple documentations locations environment.  I developed (during personal time) a totally virtual lab to include the entire local infrastructure of AT&T LAB overlaid on a 3 stories floor plans building schematics via MS Visio with physical racks front and back diagrams which has all the environmental hardware and ports of devices listed below.  I turned all hardware in the lab into movable self-updating objects, which included all the attributes as Network Names, models, serial numbers, MAC address…via double click viewable objects properties with links to physical, logical, and virtual locations. Auto login enabled from the Visio objects via macros and batch files. Auto restored configurations, and ARP tables of every device linked to their network names.  I documented every network ports and VLANs linked to every device near and far managed or unmanaged, On or Off.  I turned the complete lab into a truly virtual environment on my own time.  Unfortunately this site is closing down to offshore the location.  Hence I will have to find a new job after August 15, 2016.  VMWare –  vSphere 5.0 Client/vCenter Server; creating; deleting Virtual machines in VMWare environment. ·               Sprint LTE Lab manager- I had built a virtual lab that in incorporated the map of virtual and physical circuits with multi layered maps of wired connections (and a DB backend) of various clients network and the test network.  I worked under the chief engineer who had asked Sprint to integrated my off duty virtual lab development. I had built a Spirent VR5 HD Spatial Channel Emulator mobile test rack with cloud network servers for client network to isolate the lab from the internet.  Onsite install of Cisco Catalyst 6500-E at Sprint Central Office.

·               Primary Avaya Provisioning Engineer for UBS Bank – UBS has given a warehousing contract to my employer based on my MS Visio network drawing off their entire world wide network. I had single handedly built the entirely new warehouse in a newly rented building, to include cable tracing running new wires, rack & stack, initial programming all the devices like Cisco router, Wireless AP, Security cameras and Switches based on the company schematics.  I certified and provisioned all Avaya phone and extension, Gateway G430, G450, HP ProLiant DL120 and DL160 call Servers, Cisco Catalyst POE - WS-C3750-48PS-S, in the warehouse and shipped it to onsite locations in the US for field installers with Avaya certifications team lead.

·               Ocean Blue – instrumental in proof of concept and single handed installation, diagramming, and testing of Datacenters to be replicated throughout the US with Visio diagrams of rack & stack, connection and initial programming of all devices. Installed Cisco UCS 5108 blade servers, Violin 7300 Flash Storage Platform, Juniper srx550 and EX-2200, DDOS Radware Defense Pro and 5224 Load Balancer, Nexsan Fiber Channel with VMware vSphere 5.5 SAN Storage, wire management.

Summary of tasks: Convert carrier grade NT Oracle servers to Solaris Servers with VNC access for Sprint.  Provision and configured access for customers using AAA, SIP/Helix Servers and Applications Servers, collect and analyzed 4G Wireless signaling errors and create errors reports for Sprint Engineers.

Successfully cleared all the back logged departments in Motorola.  My main title was “Wimax Systems Engineer Network Development”, but I moved around to all the departments that were understaffed and bring them up to a manageable level of work load.   Worked as a Wimax (4G) network Engineer at the Sprint office in Herndon VA. Help Desk Wimax Worldwide Trouble Tickets Resolution, Mobile wireless data collection team, Sites Acceptance Analyst, and Mobile devices team.  Broke the record for a single day sites acceptance of 7 sites (previously set were 5).

 

·               Worked to develop roll out for new Motorola 4G wireless solution for Sprint XOHM, in cooperation with Intel, Samsung, Nokia, Xycel and many other 4G Mobile device makers. 

·               Installed and revised roll out procedure for Motorola CAPC (Carrier Access Point Controller), AP’s (Access points), Ground based AP, Diversity AP, EMS (Elements Management Systems), Redback Routers, Foundry Switches, Sun Netra 2000 running Sun Solaris 10, AAA servers, VNC servers, FTP servers, Carrier grade Linux devices. 

·               Reorganized Sprint IP remapping of their Wireless network, and reconfigured all 4G carrier devices.

·               Worked with drive team gathering wireless signaling data utilizing logix works X-cal and analyzing data using X-cap, EV planet terrain signaling simulator, MS Street and Trips, Google Maps, and creating customized MS Excel report forms using Macros and topographical signal strength data overlaid on a visual topographical mapping of each interconnecting 4G Cell sites.

Summary of Tasks: Proactive monitoring and repairs of all airports, and federal institutions.  Monitor and troubleshoot all routers, switches, APC UPS, and Sites Servers connectivity to the internet.

Cut shift report time down from 1.5hr to only 7min with a shell script and a macros MS Excel form.  I removed all the false NOC alarms when users shut off their VOIP phones and personal printers.

I tracked down the addresses of many hackers with reverse look up including a local IPSEC employee.

VSAT/Micro Wave Network Specialist/Onsite Consulting Manager

Our team was commissioned by the Saudi's Royal Family (with an exclusive Royal Decree), to build a Telemedicine network (from the ground up) throughout The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using all VSAT and Microwave terminals. The Internet was banned in Saudi Arabia, until I personally educated the Saudi's PTT (Same as all the Telco in the US) of the capabilities of the modern filtering techniques.  I was the only Internet Gate Keeper of the heavily filtered internet links.

Tasks Summary:

Built NT Back Office Internet servers with Proxy access, installed and troubleshoot windows related issues.  Train the Saudis using Arabic enabled windows OS and Applications, troubleshoot and repaired link state connectivity problem between servers, routers, switches, VSAT modems, MUX/DE-MUX and Telco connectivity.  I filtered unwanted information from the outside world that the locals found offensive.  All site to site communication was done via VSAT over long distance and Microwave for the short haul due to the extreme heat that would melt all exposed wires.
